The photos speak for themselves I think.  All the gadgets and a hoarding of premium black & white film.  I'm sure Chips has a lens in mind.  Something that goes up to 200mm I think.  I'm more of a landscape person so I'd rather have a wide angle.  And also an LX3 because the DSLR's are hell to lug around.  And then I'd need a glamorous bag to put them in.  But of course, right?

Ever since I was a kid.  I developed this fascination for shoes early.  I'd open my mom's shoe cabinet and gawk at the rows and rows of shoes.  Of course to a 5-year old, they seemed larger than life.  I'd prop myself up on a stool to reach for the "pretty" ones on the top shelf, specifically a pair of high-heeled peacock blue satin pumps.  I'd trot around the dining room and revel in the clicking and clacking of the heels against the marble floor.  Oh it was such a marvelous sound.  I always thought, when I grew bigger, I should own shoes like these.  Fast forward to present day, I don't even want to start counting the pairs I own.  Most of my shoes are at least 3-inches high, with a preference for stiletto.  I love pumps.  It is my staple, especially pointy ones.

When I met with Niko, he asked me what height I'm comfortable wearing and I instantly said 3 inches!  He said he could imagine me in peep-toe heels, tea-stained to match my vintage theme.  Oooh, nice.  He also asked if I had plans of getting luxurious shoes because if that was the case, he'd just sew me a plain 'ol sundress.  YEAH RIGHT, I wish I could afford it.  Well, I can dream.  So since I'm a stickler for inducing pain on myself, I went ahead and surfed for dream shoes.  Oh drool.  I'm actually palpitating as I'm uploading these.

Brighter than Sunshine by Aqualung.  I know that it's not exactly vintage.  Maybe we could ask the quartet to play it.  Though the rawness of the feeling wouldn't be the same as the actual recorded song.  This song has been on my iPod for forever.  One morning, I was driving and I really got to listen to it (no choice as I was stuck in bad traffic) and ingest the words.  It was an "oh. my. GOD." moment.  It's perfect for a wedding song.  It's going to be perfect for us.  And now we have an early morning wedding and the reception is in a gorgeous ballroom with tall beautiful windows.  Isn't that just awesome how everything fits.  Here's an excerpt from the lovely lovely lyrics.  Oh man, I could imagine myself crying while dancing to this.

I didn't have the strength to fight
Suddenly you seemed so right
Me and you
What a feeling

What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
It's brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, I don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine.

It's brighter than the sun
It's brighter than the sun
It's brighter than the sun, sun, shine.

Love will remain a mystery
But give me your hand and you will see
Your heart is keeping time with me.
What a feeling in my soul
Love burns brighter than sunshine
It's brighter than sunshine
Let the rain fall, I don't care
I'm yours and suddenly you're mine
Suddenly you're mine.
