Ever since I was a kid. I developed this fascination for shoes early. I'd open my mom's shoe cabinet and gawk at the rows and rows of shoes. Of course to a 5-year old, they seemed larger than life. I'd prop myself up on a stool to reach for the "pretty" ones on the top shelf, specifically a pair of high-heeled peacock blue satin pumps. I'd trot around the dining room and revel in the clicking and clacking of the heels against the marble floor. Oh it was such a marvelous sound. I always thought, when I grew bigger, I should own shoes like these. Fast forward to present day, I don't even want to start counting the pairs I own. Most of my shoes are at least 3-inches high, with a preference for stiletto. I love pumps. It is my staple, especially pointy ones.
When I met with Niko, he asked me what height I'm comfortable wearing and I instantly said 3 inches! He said he could imagine me in peep-toe heels, tea-stained to match my vintage theme. Oooh, nice. He also asked if I had plans of getting luxurious shoes because if that was the case, he'd just sew me a plain 'ol sundress. YEAH RIGHT, I wish I could afford it. Well, I can dream. So since I'm a stickler for inducing pain on myself, I went ahead and surfed for dream shoes. Oh drool. I'm actually palpitating as I'm uploading these.
