It's going to be on December 30, 2009 (Wednesday).  We wanted a quaint, warm church that has a lot of character.  The idea was to have a vintage-themed wedding, classic and elegant.  I was hoping for a Calaruega wedding, however the chapel was too small and the venue was going to be too far.  We had always seen Nuestra Senora de Gracia in other wedding albums and websites, and we knew that it would be a primary choice for our now Manila-bound ceremony.  Chips and I finally got to see it this morning, with my parents, and we were totally blown away.  It is beautiful!  It is perfect for the vintage theme.  I could almost imagine an old, classic bridal car parked in the driveway.  I had a fuzzy feeling in my stomach.  This church had to be it.  We continued to check out some other churches but none of them overtook that level of warm fuzziness.

Set your alarms!  The ceremony will be an EARLY MORNING one.  We like the idea of warm sunlight, and just having a simple gathering after (we're not much of night-life-dancing people).  The church is also very high in demand - we were able to secure (hold on to your seats people) a slot for 8 in the morning.  So please, please, please be prompt for the ceremony.  Especially those who will be in the entourage (we'll finalize the list and post it soon) who'll need to assemble before 8AM.  The advantage of this is the morning sun that will make us all look really warm and pretty in the pictures.  Promise, it will all be worth it!

Mwah!
