My dad's sister confirmed to be our Ninang at our wedding! The bigger news is that she'll be able to fly in from Canada to celebrate with us. Yey! When she asked about the color motif, I absolutely scrambled. I totally forgot that unlike the other godparents, we would only get to see her close to the wedding day.
I knew what it would look like in my head, but I didn't know how to explain it. I knew that it needed to be on the neutral side, so it wouldn't be too hard for them to search for a particular hue. And I knew that neutrals would be flexible enough to flatter anyone while still matching the vintage theme. I knew that my peg was the shade of tan that Pina Barongs would have. Somewhat coffee, somewhat taupe. My mom suggested to send pictures to give her an idea of the color range. So here is what I came up with. Whew! I felt relieved and excited at the same time.
The wedding's months and months away and I truly can't wait to see everything come together. And I do hope they come together beautifully.
